The area has easy access to the 91 & 55 freeways, and the 241 Toll Road for commuters to the Inland Empire or South Orange County. Anaheim Hills is bordered by the cities of Yorba Linda, Orange, the area of Orange Park Acres and Placentia.
East Anaheim Hills consists primarily of newer attached and detached single family homes and condos that were built in the 1980's and 1990's. The area of zip code 92808 is bounded by the 91 Freeway and Yorba Linda to the north, the 241 Toll Road to the East, the city of Orange to the South, and Anaheim Hills Road to the West (generally).
West Anaheim Hills, zip code 92807, also features affordable entry level condominium and single family residences, however, much of the area was built between 1965 and 1990. Real estate in this area ranges from entry level condos and townhomes to luxury estates in Peralta Hills and the guard gated neighborhood of Copa de Oro custom homes. Pride of ownership in the market area is such that most neighborhoods have been meticulously maintained. Anaheim Hills had significant appreciation in home prices in the past decade, and many long-term residents have re-invested in their property by using home equity to remodel.
Peralta Hills is a community of upper-end residences in the Anaheim Hills market, many of which sit on larger lots that are in excess of 1/2 acre. The area of Peralta Hills is highly-desirable, and many properties are custom built and feature swimming pools, private sport and tennis courts, as well as superb hills, lights, and canyon views. On a clear day, some properties even feature views to the Pacific Ocean and Catalina. Peralta Hills has a country-like feel to it, with winding streets, private driveways, and a feeling of exclusivity. Peralta Hills East is a newer community in Anaheim Hills which is guard gated.
The private community of Copa de Oro competes with the custom estates in Peralta Hills in the $1,000,000+ price range. Copa de Oro properties, however, generally have the appeal of "Super-Tract Homes", rather than the warm and personal appeal of the rolling estates in Peralta Hills.
